The Owen Wilson comedy will return for Season 2.

Apple TV+ announced today that Stick has been renewed for a second season. The news comes as the comedy wraps a successful 10-episode freshman run that garnered high praise from critics and viewers alike.
"I am inspired and humbled by the audience reaction to 'Stick,' and I'm thrilled to be making a second season with this magical cast, led by the incomparable Owen Wilson, and the wonderful creative team at Apple TV+," said creator Jason Keller. "It's a joy to be able to continue this story. Most importantly, however, this season two order will provide me with an undeniable excuse to play even more golf. Thank you, Apple TV+."
"With the first season of 'Stick,' audiences instantly fell in love with the charming, funny and heartfelt world that Jason, Owen and their all-star team created this season," said Matt Cherniss, head of programming, Apple TV+. "There's plenty more in the bag for fans of the series, and we're thrilled they'll soon have the chance to discover Pryce Cahill's next chapter."
The series stars Wilson as Pryce Cahill, an over-the-hill, ex-pro golfer whose career was prematurely derailed 20 years ago. After his marriage falls apart and he loses his job at an Indiana sporting goods store, Pryce begins coaching a troubled 17-year-old golf prodigy - staking his future on the kid's success.

If could have been so much better. The only characters that weren't annoying were the mom and the ex-caddie. Being Apple, they of course had to put their woke stamp on it. Owen plays the same character he plays in literally every movie he's ever been in. The main character is either a really good actor, portraying himself as a total brat, or he is a total brat in RL and just being himself. The acting is very cringeworthy at times.

Outstanding . . Just a good wholesome light-hearted piece of entertainment . . I`m glad it`s coming back ( but hope his dad stays away, dick! )
