Roku Originals announced today that Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross has been renewed for a second season. The news comes just two weeks after the travel series premiered on the streaming service.
Since its July 25 debut, the show has become the most-watched unscripted Roku Original within the first two weeks of launch in terms of unique viewers.
"'Solo Traveling with Tracee Ellis Ross' is the #1 unscripted show in Roku history, and now we get to do it all again with a Season 2!," said Ross in a statement. "Thank you to Roku for your incredible partnership and care with my show, and to the amazing team that made it all possible. But the biggest thank you goes to everyone who has watched, embraced, and shared my journeys. The way the show is resonating feels truly special - all of the comments, the conversations, the connection... my cup runneth over. So here's to all the solo travelers out there, the aspiring solo travelers, those who share in the joy of solo travel by watching me do it and, of course, to my fellow over-packers! There's so much more to see and do - the world is our oyster! I can't wait to see where I'll be going next and to bring all of you along."

The show follows the award-winning actress as she packs her bags and inviting viewers to join her on solo trips to exotic locations such as Morocco, Mexico, and Spain, to experience the joy of traveling alone. Season 2 promises even more meaningful moments and scenic escapes as Ross sets off to new destinations - with (many) checked bags in tow.

Nothing about the show, but can we get eat for a minute. STOP with the useless qualifiers to make your show sound popular.

"within the first two weeks of launch" … ok why say in first 2 weeks? Did it drop off after people watched 2 episodes? It can’t hold up?
"in terms of unique viewers." … oh you mean it Tom and his family that don’t watch Roku to watch an episode but took some time.
Every show is something if you find the right qualifiers. Gold Like Me - the best new cable Sunday night spinoff for new viewers to Sunday nights on cable this half of the decade.

No. Solo traveling is safe when you're a millionaire with body guards. If you're a regular woman its a guaranteed way to get trafficked.
