The romantic comedy will return in 2026.

Netflix announced today that Nobody Wants This has been renewed for a third season in 2026. The news comes less than two weeks after the romantic comedy released its 10-episode sophomore run, which continued to garner high praise from critics and viewers. The move makes sense, as Season 2 held the #1 spot on the streamer's English TV list for two weeks in a row with 18 million views in its first 11 days. It has also reached the Top 10 in 82 countries, and it brought Season 1 back onto the list at #7.
"I couldn't be more excited to head into a third season of this show," said creator Erin Foster. "It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn't take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I'll do it for as long as they want me to!"
"We are so grateful to Netflix and 20th for giving us another season of Nobody Wants This," added showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan. "This job is criminally fun. Working with the uniquely gifted Erin Foster, this unbelievable cast of talented, hilarious pros, amazing writers, and incredible crew has been a truly great experience."
The half-hour series stars Kristen Bell as Joanne, an agnostic podcast host who meets and falls for an unconventional, newly single rabbi named Noah, played by Adam Brody. The unlikely pair must now work out their differing outlooks on life, all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families.
