Apple TV orders more of the acclaimed comedy.

Apple TV announced today that Platonic has been renewed for a third season. The news comes two months after the comedy wrapped its 10-episode sophomore run, which again garnered high praise from both critics and viewers.
"'Platonic' is proof there is no duo better at making us belly laugh at midlife crises than Seth and Rose," said Matt Cherniss, head of programming for Apple TV. "Nick and Francesca accomplished the rare feat of taking the show to the next level in season two, and, along with our partners at Sony, we can't wait to see what they cook up for season three."
The half-hour series stars Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne as Will and Sylvia, two former best friends approaching midlife who reconnect after a long rift. But the duo's rekindled friendship quickly becomes all-consuming and destabilizes their lives.

Very glad to see this. Season 2 left off at a satisfactory enough point if it hadn't returned but I enjoy it and look forward to another season.
