It's an early pickup for the animated series.

whatwhatwhat-
Not mad at all. I'm well aware of the comic books. Have several of them. Not the same as putting it on screen. Maul should be dead and Palpatine should have been dead. Shrug. It's whatever. Not going to let it ruin my day. Just not going to watch.

Anyhoo, I will probably catch up on these first two episodes. Instead of the backlog of visions, something, and lego.
They are all great.
But darkness needs a chance.
I hope rebuilt Maul has a story to rival a thrawn or a tarkin.
Or a red head who {homer simpson} imbiginorated a middle aged luke.
For me, i keep up with the movies and good series. But you gotta check your canons before firing.

new computer here. so might not have the correct format for my name. how many apostrophies?
or spelling errors?
I don't want to get too deep into this...
but not too long after the haphazard first thrillogy, there were soon comic book and other mentions.
Darth Maul is of some species, lizardian-ish, and there is early 2000's media showing him, angry, lurching about, finding his severed lower, things joining... and wierding out starwars back then,
And those sources were allowed/taken as canon, before disney bought the far away galaxy.
The wierdness of star wars started a long time ago.
Check your Canon.
And young obi-one didn't have an emergency medpack to seal qui-gons internal rout. Young obi-won also didn't have a device to activate spare mitichlorians to go into heal phase.
The dark side draws races that can regrow, heal faster.
Winston.
J.B.
the precedence and canons are there before disney.
Get mad at something important.
Like why the star wars droid factory had bits and pieces that.... arrghhh.... i want to make this rectangle have four legs. the bits don't fit easily. their is a crane. I didn't see this toy in star wars.
--------------
I hope this isn't old vs young,
but darth mauls regeneration was handled very early post 1999. you can't blame disney on this one. just obi-one for not slicing and dicing. (he controlled his anger i assume)

Why? Because bad writing and creative bankruptcy, that's why.

Winston, I couldn't agree more. In their attempts at fan-service they have ruined the original trilogy and prequels. Palpatine and Maul are both back? Why? Because the fans?

Remember when being taken out by a lightsaber meant that character was gone for good?
Qui-Gon Jinn gets it in the gut and has someone there to help him immediately, but he's gone for good.
Maul is cut in-half, and falls down a deep shaft, with no one there to help him. But he's fine.
Disney has ruined the lightsaber and Star Wars...among many other franchises.
