No Season 3 for the Denis Leary comedy.

It is being reported that Going Dutch has been cancelled by Fox after two seasons. The news comes less than two weeks after the comedy wrapped its sophomore run, and just one week before the network unveils its lineup for the 2026-2027 season.
The half-hour series stars Denis Leary as Patrick Quinn, an arrogant U.S. Army Colonel who has been reassigned to the Netherlands because of an unfiltered rant. After serving with distinction in every warzone over the last three decades, he now finds himself being punished with a command position at the least important army base in the world. Surrounded by a group of military misfits, the colonel is now trying his best to reinstate discipline and professionalism with the help of the base's previous interim leader, his estranged daughter.

Shame. Really liked this show. Good range of cast. Add another to list of Fox shows that don't last long. Oh, but let's have more masked singer.

Poor Denis Leary. Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll, The Moodys, this show. He keeps trying but Rescue Me was lightning in a bottle. He should stick to producing. Sirens was hysterical. THAT was cancelled way too soon.

This is one of those shows that must have looked great on paper but it just never worked in practice. Occasionally it had funny episodes but most of the time it just limped along.

This didn't get better and was only okay. But thankfully they keep Animal Control. We're all glad for that.

I wasn't overly impressed when it started, but I hung on, and it started to grow on me. I was actually looking forward to the second season. So now, of course, it's canceled. Bummer.

Hard to watch. Even the commercials suck. Denis Leary needs to be given an HBO or Netflix show where he can shine.
