It's official: Euphoria has come to an end after three seasons. After Sunday's now-series finale, the New York Times published an interview with creator Sam Levinson, where he confirmed that the show is indeed over.

"In terms of the story that we set out to tell, which is a story about addiction and its consequences, this feels like the end to me," Levinson said.

The series premiered in 2019, then took over two years before returning for Season 2. The wait for Season 3 was even longer at over four years. While it was thought for some time that the third season would be its last, it was not until tonight that it was confirmed.

Adapted from an Israeli series of the same name, Euphoria takes a look into the world of a group of high school students dealing with issues around friendship, love, social media, sex, and drugs. Zendaya stars as a teenage drug addict who is looking to sort her life out after returning home from rehab.
