Word is out that Netflix has cancelled Strip Law after just one season. The move comes less than four months after the animated comedy released its 10-episode freshman run. Creator Cullen Crawford posted the news on his Bluesky page.
"so they told me theres not going to be anymore strip law at Netflix i really cant be anything but grateful," wrote Crawford. "at every phase it was made by talented people in pursuit of nothing but pure chaotic delirious joy and im so so proud of it. thank you to everyone who gave it chance. I thought it was funny."
The half-hour series follows Lincoln Gumb, an uptight lawyer in Las Vegas who is too boring to win cases until he teams up with local magician/hedonist Sheila Flambé to bring some flash and pizzazz to the stupidest cases the city can throw at them.
