The comedy competition is coming back for Season 2.
June 16, 2026
Netflix announced today that Funny AF with Kevin Hart has been renewed for a second season. The news comes less than two months after the comedy competition crowned its first winner.
The show is part of the streamer's recent effort to add more live programming with audience participation. Season 2, expected in 2027, will again include live episodes with real-time voting for Netflix members.
"I'm beyond excited that Funny AF is coming back for Season 2," said Kevin Hart. "This show is all about giving hungry, undiscovered comedians the kind of shot I was chasing when I started out — an uncensored stage, a real audience, and the chance to turn a dream into a career. The response to Season 1 has been incredible, and I can't wait to get back out there, discover more phenomenal talent, and keep raising the bar for stand-up comedy."
The 3-week series features Hart and some of comedy's biggest legends as they search for the next comedy star. The competition is brutal, the stakes are real, and the talent is undeniable. When it's all said and done, viewers vote to decide who wins it all.
