The Australian dramedy is readying its closing chapter.

Hulu announced today that The Artful Dodger has been renewed for a third and final season. The news comes six months after the Australian crime dramedy released its sophomore run on Hulu in the US and Disney+ internationally.
Billed as a follow-up to Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist, the series is set in 1850s Australia in the colony of Port Victory, where Jack Dawkins, aka The Artful Dodger, has left pickpocketing behind to become a surgeon. But his past returns to haunt him with the arrival of Fagin, luring him back into a world of crime. He also becomes captivated by Lady Belle, the Governor's daughter, who has her eyes set on becoming the colony's first female surgeon.
Filming on Season 3 will take place in Sydney, Australia and is slated to begin in the coming months.
