Prime Video announced today that Neagley has been picked up for a second season. The news comes just two weeks after the drama released its 8-episode freshman run, which reached 40 million viewers in its first 13 days. Those numbers make it the streamer's fourth most-watched series debut.

"Audiences around the world have embraced Frances Neagley as a force all her own," said Peter Friedlander, Head of Global Television, Amazon MGM Studios. "Maria Sten delivers a commanding, layered performance that drives every episode, and Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton have built a world that is both thrilling and compelling. We are excited to continue this story and explore what's next for Neagley with our partners at Paramount Television Studios."

A spinoff of 'Reacher,' the series follows Frances Neagley, a private investigator in Chicago and former military protégé of Jack Reacher in the Army's 110th Special Investigations Unit. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice. Using everything she's learned from Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.
