'Neagley:' Reacher Spinoff Set For September

The series will debut following Reacher's season finale.

Prime Video has set a September 16 premiere date for Neagley, the upcoming 'Reacher' spinoff starring Maria Sten. The 8-episode action drama will be released following the Season 4 finale of 'Reacher.'

The series will follow Chicago private investigator Frances Neagley. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes determined to seek justice. Using everything she learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.

"As Reacher continues to resonate with our global customers in a profound way, expanding on the storytelling and characters with a spinoff was an easy decision," said Vernon Sanders, head of television, Amazon MGM Studios, in 2024 when the spinoff was first announced. "With Nick and Nicholas as well as our partners Skydance and CBS Studios, we're confident this new chapter, starring the amazing Maria Sten, will not only honor the Reacher legacy but also bring fresh energy and excitement to new and longtime fans alike."

Hey Foo.... there's nothing Lame and Gay about Neagley's character, and especially the way it's portrayed by the actor in the last 3 seasons of Reacher.
I want to know why she doesn't like to be touched. I hope we get more background in general about the character. Maybe flash backs like Reacher. No doubt a complex character/individual.

I like the actor and the character so i will give it an honest shot. I wasnt to thrilled with Reacher S3 so i have a feeling this will fall flat. Plus... there was a Comanche in the teaser so if its Neagleys ride ill be bound by law to watch so theres that too...

Reacher is great so I'll try this one, and she's a good sidekickc, but I'm not sure that character deserves a spin-off.

I will give this a fighting chance because Reacher has been very good.

However, I don't have faith that this will be good.
