A procedural crime drama set in Las Vegas featuring a team of Crime Scene Investigators working to solve various murders and other crime.
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation follows the forensic scientists as they investigate and uncover the circumstances behind mysterious and unusual crimes.
The show is known for its gruesome depictions of crimes and its focus on the hi-tech methods the team uses to solve them. The success of the program has spawned two additional shows under the CSI moniker, but set in different cities.

I dislike Ted Danson and Elizabeth Shue on this show. She seems like an airhead and he whines too much for his wife. ANNOYING!! It has actually come to a point that I don't even care if I miss an episode which was not the case with the original cast. Bring at least Grissom back. This show is dying out and it did not have to be that way. Looks like CSI: NY will have to be my new favorite or something else all together.

I really don't care for Elizabeth Shue. Don't know why. I really like Ted Danson. I didn't like him on "Cheers" but that just goes to show what a good actor he is. I appreciate him on CSI. I hope CSI continues for more seasons. CSI:Las Vegas is, in my opinion, the best of the CSI shows.

I've always loved this show, but I loved the original cast. Lawrence Fishburne started out okay, but that whole serial murderer thing went on way too long. When Ted Danson started, he was pretty annoying and I almost quit watching, but he seems to have kind of leveled out. Don't really like Elizabeth Shue's character though; not sure how much longer I'm going to watch it if something doesn't get better.

This original series out does and out performs the other CSI shows. Take away CSI Miami and leave Fringe alone! I was worried when they hired Tim Danson but I am extremely happy they did. He brings freshness to the cast, love his character. It's time to say buy to Sarah's character and leave the rest intact.
