A sitcom following a family adjusting to the birth of their fourth child.
The Duncan family is a growing brood. Parents Bob and Amy have recently given birth to their fourth child, Charlotte - otherwise known as Charlie.
Now faced with returning to the workforce, Bob and Amy turn to their other three children to help with raising the latest addition to their family. The kids are happy to help, except for the fact that they are each dealing with their own issues in school and their social lives.
Teddy, Charlie's older sister, is compiling a video diary for her - which takes key events from each episode to use as advice down the road when she's older.

i think disney concludes shows when the kids hit a certain age because growing up comes with grown up issues. disney has to keep it light. and relateable to their target audience, kids. nobody wants to see the kids go off to college, its too sad.

Good luck Charlie really was good it was like one of the older disney shows with all the problems that would happen and the new shows like dog with a blog liv and maddie shake it up I didn't do it isn't as good as the older ones good luck Charlie was praticaly the only show I would watch other than Jessie that's all I liked.

I don't understand why Good Luck Charlie has to go because Disney rarely keeps a show after 4 years. To me, that is a stupid reason. This show is better than any of the others and is a good show for Mom to watch!! I love it just as much as my daughter! I try watching the other shows and they fail compared to Good Luck Charlie. ANT Farm (not funny), Jessie (annoying), Shake it Up (stupid), etc. do not compare!! I've read reasons of "the kids are growing up and moving on". That's not a good reason. There are still 3 young ones at home that can carry on. Gabe and the 2 little ones. There are PLENTY of situations and shows that can be made for many more seasons! There are PLENTY spin-off shows with PJ and Teddy that I can think of also!!!! Disney is making a huge mistake!

I love good luck Charlie its really good unlike the new shows they have on. Like Jessie, and dog with a blog. This is gone so now there's Austin & ally and liv and Maddie those are really the only good ones

Don't take Good Luck Charlie off. Take Jessie off, take Shake it Up off, take Wizards of Waverly Place off Selena Gomez is so full of herself!!!!! At least Bridgit Mendler can act, unlike Selena.
