A reality series following the daily operations of a family-owned pawn shop.
Hardcore Pawn follows the goings-on at American Jewelry and Loan, a pawn shop in Detroit, MI. Owned by Les Gold, he and two children run the day-to-day operations of the business. Son Seth heads up the shop's marketing aspects and daughter Ashley is the shop's assistant manager.

The Show is redicalus,All plays a role in acting to try an make you laugh,I believe the customers in that show are getting paid to assist,Its just too far fetched!!,They dont think about anyone but themselves,Especially the owner,Believe me i know!!

Wow....! It's truly disturbing to see/read so many comments praising and giving this horrid piece of trash TV programming "good" reviews! It was pure garbage and my God, how embarrassing for that family that they'd stoop that low and make complete fools of themselves just for the sake of a little network TV cash. Very disturbing indeed! Glad it's gone!

Probably the same reason I did not watch if . At first the show was funny. Watching all of the drunks and dope heads of Detroit.But soon it became very old. The scripted arguments sounded so fake! I am talking about the spoiled brother and sister act. I saw this show by accident one night and the patrons made me laugh, so I watched again. But as I stated earlier, the spoiled children soon took over and I watched something else. But the real show I miss was the entertainment of Lizard Lick Towing. I guess there was not enough money in it for either party or too much real for the TRU TV or not enough real for the owners of Lizard Lick.
Either way good riddance to bad rubbuish, the trash show of Hardcore Pawn.

Between Hardcore Pawn, Operation Repo, & South Beach Tow that was Real T. V. watching!! Bring back All 3 that would be some Great T. V.!!!

I very much enjoyed Hardcore Pawn. The one thing it had over Pawn Stars is it showed all the customers that pawned their personal items which is the bread and butter of all pawn shops. Though Pawn Stars is educational and I do enjoy Rick I preferred the reality of Hardcore Pawn. It at least showed not only the ability to know more about certain time periods and items but it showed what it's like to own and operate a pawn shop. BRING IT BACK!

The show is entertainment! On nearly every show you watch, common sense would tell you that some of it is staged. Nearly everything on TV is meant to be entertainment for God sake. You think Walking Dead is real TV???? Bring Hardcore Pawn back, please.
