TV Land's first original scripted series.
Hot in Cleveland is a comedy following three past-their-prime entertainment industry veterans from Los Angeles whose lives are changed when their Paris-bound plane lands in Cleveland, Ohio.
There, they find a welcoming community that is less shallow than Los Angeles. One of the women leases a home with a sassy caretaker.

The writing is pretty awful, but there's still great chemistry among the ladies.

I love this show. there so many reality shows on TV. They make me sick . Betty White is an icon. To be able to perform at her age. I remember Valerie from One Day a Time. Everyone on that show was great. I am extremely disappointed that this show is gone.(Is it?) Thank you Betty, Valerie, Jane and Wendy. A great sitcom

Everyone has an opinion (like something else everyone has) and here's mine: I think HIC is growing stale, as most shows do after a number of seasons. The characters are so predictable, saying virtually the same lines each episode, and becoming more and more tiresome as time goes by. As for Betty White, I don't quite understand what they big deal is about her. Oh wait, she's quite elderly and as such, is now being referred to as a "National Treasure." Whatever. While I don't dislike White and thought she was funny on the old MTM show as Sue Ann Nivens, I think she's way overrated in HIC. Her "Off Their Rockers" was abysmal (and rightly cancelled), and I think they nominate her for an Emmy each season of HIC. I mean, really, she's not THAT stupendous! Old yes, stupendous no. For me, HIC has run its course, and while I thought the first two seasons were alright (maybe even season three, as well) the show has become well, kind of a drag.

hot in cleveland is NOT funny....Betty White has not been funny since Golden Girls... another show not so great is Betty White "off their rockers".....
