Dwight Hendricks is stand-up detective who loves the simple things in life, such as his mother, the blues, and his city. He has a fierce dedication to his home town but takes an easygoing approach to his job.

Just looked to see when my favorite show, Memphis Beat, returns and am devestated that it has been cancelled! Somehow those that enjoy the show never got surveyed because it is better than 99% of the shows aired! For us it is right up there with Justified! Can you reconsider??? Please!!!!

I really liked this show. Jason Lee and Alfre Woodard were excellent, and the supporting ensemble cast was a pure delight. Somebody, somewhere, at sometime please pick it up or at least put in on the internet or DVD.

When I found out they decided not to renew the show I was hurt. This was an awesome cop show. Jason Lee was great, as was he when he was Earl. I hope the show comes to Netflix so I can watch the reruns.

Our favorite show! We even had others started watching it. We all loved it! It also showed the police in a positive, human way. Made me want to visit Memphis. Shame on them for ending a great show.. It was much better than the The Closer, too nerve wracking.

Bring back memphis Beat one of the best shows on TNT, most of TNT shows are crap, when they get a good one they cancel it. Bring back memphis Beat.
