A sitcom following a single man raising his infant daughter.
Jimmy is a 23-year-old guy who had a one-night stand with the wrong woman. After his daughter is born, Jimmy finds out his baby's mother has killed multiple boyfriends and has been given the death sentence. Now he must raise his little girl, Hope, on his own with the help of his flawed family.

It was good in the beginning then it appears they changed writers and went down hill from there.

I'm not surprised. The show was funny when it was about RAISING Hope. Last season, and especially this season, the kid has barely been in it. The point of the show was the son learning how to raise his child without having had any real parental role models himself. The writing was great because it managed to show how inept his parents were while still making it clear that they always loved him. The show started going downhill when it became less about the daughter and more about the girlfriend. It's not as much about parenting as it is about making relationships work. Even the always brilliant Garret Dillahunt couldn't save this show. They should have listened to me when I emailed them these four words a year ago: MORE HOPE. LESS SABRINA.

We loved this show the first season! But it's getting too nasty for my taste! I liked the fact that for the most part the kids could watch it with us, but the last season was too risky for them to watch! Clean it up a little!

Raising Hope is a great source of comic relief from life! It shows great amounts of wit and creativity towards actual life and problems and circumstances. I love looking forward to watching the show, and I will definitely keep buying the seasons! =) =)
