A procedural drama following a Chicago detective who leaves his hometown and moves to Florida.
Jim Longworth is Chicago detective who was falsely accused of sleeping with his captains wife. Because of this, he takes a new job in South Florida with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement - hoping to find a more relaxing lifestyle. He soon discovers that things are more complicated than he thought.

you left my friends and I talking about who shot Jim, now you cancel the show, what's the matter with you? oh I know, the show was funny ,had good writers and a great cast of characters, must be something wrong with it.....wake up and remember what the E in A and E is for, bring it back......

I knew after what you pulled on Duck Dynasty, A&E was lacking in lots of things. The main thing being Class, Good taste and Common Sense.. The Glades was a wonderful show. The characters were warm, lovable and I looked forward to watching it every week.. So Sad...And worse, you don't listen to your viewers..

It seems to me everyone should be blaming / suing the Neilson ratings people for discriminating against people over 49 for all the good shows being canceled. If you're between 18-49 years old you get your choice of what to watch. Over 49 and your voice just does not count anymore. Loved this show. Hate to see it gone.

Just saw that The Glades was cancelled. How sad. Such a cute show.
