A drama following a big city woman who ends up practicing medicine in a small Southern town.
Zoe Hart is a promising new doctor from New York who has just graduated at the top of her class with plans to follow in her dad's footsteps as a cardio-thoracic surgeon.
When her dream doesn't turn out as planned, Zoe ends up accepting an offer to work at a small practice in Bluebell, Alabama. However when Zoe arrives there, she finds that the doctor who offered her the job has passed away and left her his half of the medical practice.

I really like this show but don't get to watch it because of it's time slot. Really wish it didn't expire on my Huluplus. I missed all of season 2.

I love this show, I live in the South. , it is just like a Small town in the south. This show despots to a T. I just wish it was not up against Ncis. I choose Hart of Dixie but was a hard decision.

Unfortunately, the ratings on this show suck the big bullet. It may return for season 3 if the show is cheap to produce, but I wouldn't be surprised if it ends after season 2. P.S. it is one of wife's fav shows and I like it too.
