Patrick "Lights" Leary is an aging former heavyweight boxing champ who is trying to find his identity after retiring from fighting. The aging Irish-American has taken years of wear and tear in the ring, causing memory loss and constant headaches. All those blows to the head during his career have even lead to being diagnosed with a neurological disorder.

Now struggling to support his family with his finances diminishing, he must make a decision on whether to accept a job as a debt collector or make return to the ring.
