Handguns were banned in the UK in 1996, im pretty sure we havent been taken over by another country yet, unless in 2006 we were and no1 noticed. Plz stop spreading false info.

well i dont understand why half the comments are posted when the base question is is the show canceled and i did some digging apparently there were mess ups in paper work severe mess ups....and because of the the feds closed down red jacket i heard something about them starting a new red jacket but im not sure....

I enjoy the show and can't wait to find out if it wil be back on. There have always been nuts with guns. The just weren't on the 6 o'clock news. It is our responibility to teach gun safety to our kids. Mine has been a crack shot since he was 9. I hope that the Discovery Channel does not cancel Son of Guns just because some disturbed idiot chose to cancel his own life and those of others. This show does not promote that kind of behavior, and should be used to promote the sane behavior that all civilized persons should aspire to. Have fun with weapons, but do it safely!

i would like to suggest a way where many lives would be spared if manufactures would built a weapon that only the buyer could operate a personal digital code that only them can use the weapon and under no crcustances will it operate without the code..you cant tell me that todays technolgy could not accomplish this the goverments could exchange these weapons for the ones used today that everyone will rush to have for obivous reasons preventing guns being used by the wrong pepole if the goverment can afford to supply a weapon for an army it can afford to put the weapon in the right hands.

Hi USA uk fan of sons of guns for able to ave gun for protection for engineering of builds for people's stories view of other cultures pulling show dos not cure gun probs more proper use of guns is an education for parents to pass to next generation tv can't edit out human problems so show should continue to aid ways to live life correctly if few people do wrong at least most get true way to behave if I could afford to visit us red jacket is a part of us life I would like to see much like guys gaitor hunting life is not all Disney and computers hope lotto comes up before USA watered down too much from diverse great country it is.

hey all u idiots saying gun law bands and we need tough laws. do u not realize that if any of the teachers or staff at a school was able to carry a gun.even a prod shooting stun gun not as many if any people would be killed. because the staff at the school would have been able to do something about it and some people might think twice before going there knowing the more than likely wont walk out alive. i mean how often do u see some one walk into a gun range police station or gun shop and start to shoot people. not often because u know u more than likely are not walking out of there alive. just the way i look at it sorry.

I feel really sorry for the kids and parents of those kids in the American school shootings. However if you don't want to have laws outlining what type of guns can be owned and by who then stop crying oh poor us another shooting come on people wake up don't you think there should be some type of gun control and then you get that idiot on tv saying if they want to take away our guns then there will be another civil war for my sake some people need to look at the bigger picture. Who needs a fully automatic gun, a .50 cal sniper rifle or army grade machine gun that hold over 30 bullets if you can't hit what your aiming for with one bullet you really shouldn't own a gun.
