A sci-fi drama depicting a time when all life on Earth is on the brink of extinction.
The year is 2149, and it is a time when all life on planet Earth is threatened with extinction. In an attempt to save the human race, scientists create a portal that allows people to time travel back 85 million years.
Groups of settlers travel across this 'temporal doorway' to a place called 'Terra Nova', which is the first human colony on the other side. However, unbeknownst to the settlers is the fact that their colony is in the midst of carnivorous dinosaurs.

I think this show is great. I completely disagree that the show is poorly written, poorly acted or that is has plot inconsistencies. Maybe the people who believe that the show is hard to follow, are simply not that bright. We Sci-Fi lovers are used to the "haters" though, and we couldn't care less what you think. The show is GREAT, and needs to be brought back for more seasons. It always amazes me that interesting shows are cancelled, yet GARBAGE like ANY of the Real Housewives shows or Jersey Shore continue to pollute the air waves. Come on FOX....bring the show back for more seasons.

I really hope that Terra Nova gets picked up for a second season. Even though there are inconsistincies with the character that is something that can be worked on in the second season. I being an Aussie thinks its great Australia to have more US show directed in Australia which means more jobs in the entertainment industry. Please dont cancel Terra Nova give it another season to prove itself.

I'm not TN haters, but I have feeling that this show will be cancelled. Too many inconsistencies even for a science fiction.

I actually enjoy this show. I can see that some of the other viewers disagree. However, I find it entertaining as does the rest of my family. I find that the cohesion between the Shannon family up against the constantly warring factions to be both stimulating and interesting. The backdrop of being 85 million years in the past, isn't the show. The series is about the Shannon family, and how they deal with still very modern problems along with the task of rebuilding humanity. I hope that this series gets picked up for a full season!

The show is a miss , they have "terras" as currency. They have already failed at a second chance to make a better human race. ther are no Good GUYS

So far I like the show, I mean...come on..it's about people from the future going back 85 million years! I don't expect Shakespearean acting or even plausability...it's Science Fiction. Still..why does there always have to be a conflict between 2 groups. Can't we just see them try & survive against 85 million yr old Earth @ first??

I REALLY LOVE THE SHOW!!!!Terra Nova, I GIVE IT A 10++++++ since "Prison Break" is not on any more "that was my FAVORITTTT SHOW" But Know Terra Nova is my Favotittttttt.

the pilot seemed more like a movie. im not saying its a bad thing, i really liked it. im thinking this will be canceled after the first season tho. mostly cuz just about all shows i watch from the beginning ends quick.

I was pleasantly surprised by this. I really enjoyed the pilot and I think that the show will be really exciting. I look forward to next Monday so I can watch some more.
