In this celebrity spin-off of the original series, mothers in two celebrity families with diverse values switch homes, giving each other the chance to see how the other raises their children and deals with life in the spotlight.

In the first part of each episode, each mom moves into the other's home and adopts to their family's lifestyle, regardless of how different it is from their own. They must follow a manual written by the departing mother that sets out the rules of their new household, including parenting techniques, social calendar, house work schedule, and more. In the second half, the new moms take charge, adopting their own set of rules and doing things their own way.
