I read thet it will not be renewed for a second season. It's a shame, it's a good show, others should be cancelled, not this one!

The sole problem this show has is that it was up against Blue Bloods on Friday night. I recorded them both during last season and sincerely hope Common Law, like Blue Bloods, will be given yet another year (somewhere on the schedule). It's as good a show of its type as there is and better than the vast majority. Most of the good to great programming these days is on the cable channels, not network TV. Blue Bloods, Person of Interest, and maybe Revenge were exceptions to the rule. This statement assumes you are not a reality show flunky.

This show is extremely entertaining and should be given a chance to find a bigger audience. The humor is ongoing throughout each episode, but it has depth to the storyline as well. I like this show very much!

Heard a rumor that USA did not pick up Common Law for a second season. :-(

I actually like this show! It's funny and at the same time they do a decent job of keeping you guessing as to "who done it". I don't think the series premiere episode did this show justice with its completely unrealisitc scenes, and exaggerations. The following episodes since the premiere however have been very good.
