A legal drama created as a continuation of the John Grisham novel and movie of the same name.
This updated adaptation picks up the story of Mitch McDeere and his family ten years following the events where McDeere helped take down a shady law firm that protected an organized crime syndicate.
Mitch has now resurfaced, out of witness protection, and has built a law practice of his own. However more trouble finds him when a mysterious new firm takes an interest in Mitch and his company.

Is anyone surprised that NBC would cancel a good show? Does anyone remember LIFE? That was a great show and so is The Firm. I will never watch another show on NBC again. No wonder CBS is kicking the s*** out of NBC. AMC and FX are starting to get better ratings than NBC.

I am disappointed that The Firm is being canceled. There are so few TV shows today that creat drama and surprises. The Firm is like a good book that leaves you hanging with each chapter.

SHAME ON NBC! The "N"o "B"rains "C"ompany mismanaged the BEST SHOW on television! The Firm is a fantastic show!
The show does require some minimal cerebral brain power to follow. Is America and tv viewers that dumbed down that they can't follow the plot? I will say that NBC's showing and marketing of the show was a complete disaster.

Great writing, great active, edge of your chair stuff best show on NBC by far. Someone pick this up. So much continuing plot potential and intrigue. This and missing are the only decent plot dramas out there. Sheesh ... Please.

This is a well-written, well-acted show which needs an audience. Moving it around the schedule is like the kiss of death; it never stands a chance. I have not missed an episode and look forward to each "chapter." I hope it is renewed, but most of the shows I enjoy wind up being cancelled.

I *LOVE* THIS SHOW!! It is NBC's best show on TV - by far! I've been hooked since the beginning - and continued watching it even after the time slot changed. I hate to see this show canceled - it's so well-written. It's crazy to me that NBC can't find someone DECENT to do its scheduling.

The best show on tv at the moment - please renew & keep it showing on the same day each weeked a bunch of episodes until we found out it was on Friday. Now I see the next show is on Thursday. PVR is a godsend because of the change
