A comedy following a family who move to a gated community and discover their neighbors are aliens.
The Weavers are a typical New Jersey family who move to a gated community and discover that their new neighbors are aliens who have taken human form and named themselves after famous sports figures in an effort to fit in.
The Weavers try to make sense of the weird new neighbors, and find out that the entire Hidden Hills community is made up of aliens from the planet Zabvron, none of whom have ever lived among humans.

I didn't plan on watching this show-it sounded so silly. But I was instantly hooked. Great writing, great development of characters and a diverse cast has my whole family watching and laughing every week. Please don't cancel or I'll be turning the channel after The Middle goes off.

The Neighbors is the funniest show I've seen in quite a while. The writing is extremely clever and the characters are interesting (I especially enjoy the interaction between Amber Weaver and Larry Bird). When I watch The Neighbors, I alternate between laughing A LOT and facepalm. Green Acres is the closest comparison I can make (fish out of water, absurd). ABC should not cancel it.

I love how this show has "grown" and the derogatory comments seem to be from people who haven't bothered to follow the show. The writing improves all the time and while it's certainly never going to rival Shakespeare it sure as heck is good escapism for me and my family. Love it and hope it isn't cancelled! I agree with those who've said it's hilarious...makes us laugh out loud together.

FUNNIEST and most clever show in ages!!! So much better than most of the garbage (murder, revenge, sex...) on TV. Anyone who can't see that is brain dead, lol! PLEASE keep it going... :)
