A comedy following identical twins and their tight-knit family.
Liv and Maddie Rooney have always shared a special bond that only identical twins can, and are excited to be reunited once Liv returns home to Wisconsin after starring on a hit TV show in Hollywood for the past four years.
While they may be twin sisters, the girls are definitely each their own person. Liv is a confident, social butterfly who loves to sing, while Maddie is smart, athletic, and more laid back.
With Liv home again, the twins now share the same bedroom, and before long Maddie realizes that close quarters may not be to her liking. But even though they have different personalities and dreams, Liv and Maddie's bond is unbreakable, and together they can get through anything.

Gosh I hate this show.
Dove Cameron does the most and is still not entertaining. She's boring and so is the show disney's cheap ass doesn't want to find real twins to play this role... I don't care how many lines Dove is learning none of it matters if she's boring. I hope this show is canceled and they run a more interesting show in it's time slot.

1 the show is not dumb, and 2 liv and maddie is 1 person (dove Cameron) and she works her but off to learn all of thoos lines! So excusese you Annabelle (what a dumb name) that I think you are sooooo wrong to think that

I have an idea for live and maddie. They should make an episode were Maddie bets live she can't be any better at any type of sport . So liv try's out gymnastics but is having a hard time doing it before the gymnastics commpotition. Guest star Gabby Douglas.

I think that liv and maddie is an awsome show because it must be hard for dove cameron to play 2characters at one time so it should not be canceled it is one of the greatest shows on disney channel

If you guys don't like the show then stop waching it clearly you have because you no its stupid the chacters are dumb you've wached it more then once sooo just stop my opinoin is that it is awesome

I think its a good show and look how many lines dove has to run through and keep them straight. Take a second look she's a good actor and can sing. She keeps them straight in her head which is great. way to go Dove your doing great.
