A drama following contestants on a fictional reality TV show that ends up putting their lives in danger.
A group of strangers are dropped off in a remote area of Siberia to compete in a survival reality show. What they don't know is that over a century ago a mysterious meteor crashed at that site, and since then strange occurrences have plagued anyone who ventures there.
Trapped and with no help on the way, the contestants quickly realize this isn't part of the show they signed up for.

What people don't understand is its not supposed to trick you into thinking its real. It's fake. It's a drama show with a script and actors. It's in the found footage genre. Paranormal activity is also found footage and no body got mad at it even though its scripted. Siberia is currently my favorite show on television and I'm really bummed that the ratings are bad and it probably won't make it to season to but I can always hope.

I love this show I'm addicted! once people get over the fact it's fake, fun to watch with all the mysteries and suspense happening at once!

The worst show on tv, the audience is actually routing for the cast to get taken out.

First, you have to understand the premise of this show. It is a scripted series based on a group of Reality show contestants trapped in a stuation where the "reality" goes horribly wrong. Imagine LOST and SURVIVOR having a "child" together. The scenes are supposed to be found footage, think THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT. That's why the premier played as a straight reality show setup....until the first contestant "died"....or whatever happened to him.
I had great hopes for this show and, it has the potential to be good. But, it's hobbled by inconsistent acting/writing and sloooowww pacing. And its drawing microscopic numbers on NBC up against UNDER THE DOME. And how long could this scenario play out anyway? ? 13 episodes? ?
At least we know NBC will burn off all the epi's on line and on HULU.

started slow, but I stuck with it and now I can't help myself....like a train wreck...just gotta watch. But really, it is getting pretty good and I find it entertaining summer fare. But like most shows of this nature, they will probably cancel it and just leave those that did invest time in it hanging. Ugh! Network TV can really suck.

Siberia is a great mash up parody of reality, horror and mystery shows. I doubt renewal will happen, I just hope NBC airs all of the season!
