A drama following a multi-ethnic family with a mix of foster and biological children being raised by two mothers.
Lena and Stef are an interracial married lesbian couple who are raising Stef's biological son from a previous marriage along with adoptive twins.
When Lena meets troubled teen Callie, the family welcomes her into their home, not knowing that their lives will be disrupted in unexpected ways.

Jane, u hit the nail on the head. I watched every single episode but same as u I turned off the first episode of this year and deleted it from my DVR. I hated that it came to that. I wish they could have stayed course so I could have enjoyed seeing how they wrapped it up. But the writes and producers would have rather gone off the deep end then thought about the dedicated fans of the show. I won't miss it.

Well, Jane got her wish. According to today's episode the final 3 episodes will air in June. Like her, I've gone thru all of the good, bad, ugly, & tiring. But who says thinking outside one's own box can't be entertaining? In general, it was. Yes, I objected to the "preachiness" of a number of the shows, but I love the cast & their interactions; while wishing I could have been so lucky. It's too bad it's going to be gone. More programs should show as much caring as this one has. I hope to see the cast in more shows...together or separately.

I have watch this show from the very first episode. I stayed with it even when the story line got old or I was disinteresrsted. I was so excited to see it was recorded on my list of show...... 7 minutes in and I realized they throw way the script and just wanted to air a political statement. I am so done with series making political statements. I want to be ENTERTAINED! This is not a show anymore. It is a statement. For that, I watch the news. Goodbye The Fosters. I removed the series feeling nothing but disgust

I love this show so much. I love Stef and Lena together. I'm also a Braille fan but I don't know how they would ever actually make that happen.

LOVE IT, ESPECIALLY THE THEME SONG. ITS COMMON TO ME BECAUSE MY MOM DIED AND MY DAD IS NOT IN MY LIFE, BUT MY AUNT AND UNCLE TOOK ME IN LIKE ONE OF THERE'S WHEN I WAS 5.

The Fosters is BAR NONE the best show EVER on T.V.!!!! Please do not cancel it :-( It will help so many kids that may be in a very bad place! I don't want to see it go...
