I hope we get to see the rest of the season! I'm getting tired of NBC canceling shows without giving them time to develop.

I can't believe this show was cancelled, but I guess I shouldn't be surprised, it seems all the good shows end up being canceled

Wow - NBC just smoked their entire Sunday lineup? I would protest and plead for reconsideration but I guarantee that no one making decisions are reading these forums (or following facebook/twitter). They only care about what they can sell advertising for during that time slot and if the 'numbers' are not good enough - the value of that time plummets.
What I am curious about is how accurate those Nielsen ratings really are. If you read their methodology (http://www.nielsen.com/us/en/nielsen-solutions/nielsen-measurement/nielsen-tv-measurement.html) a lot of that still sounds like surveys and questionnaires.. an outdated approach. I think this system doesn't accurately portray viewership and most importantly - I think in the past the 'estimates' for how many people really were watching were grossly overestimated.
While this show had some issues it at least had some interesting plot lines and possibilities. The problem nowadays is you get almost zero chance to develop a plot - so writers rush things, they become odd or unbelievable, and then you lose viewership. Now - I think most people just dont care.. I think a lot of people just wait and watch online, steal, or netflix/vudu the shows when they know they last a few seasons. How is that helping your advertising dollars.
Signs of a really broken industry run by greedy fools and bean counters.

You've got to be kidding me NBC. You're leaving no good shows to be returning. You're cancelling every.show that has me even tuning into your station. I have totally lost respect for NBC and the nitwits making the decision to cancel shows in their first season. NOOOOOO!!!Please do not cancel this wonderful show. Ny hubby and I thoroughly enjoyed tuning into this show weekly. It had a great and different storyline and show idea. I, like so many millions of other Americans are so sick of wonderful shows like this getting cancelled after just one short season but then seeing the awful reality shows keep coming back season after season. So many reality shows are just old annoying news now, we're over them! Tv networks are seriously dumbing down the population by continuing to run these awful, catty, immature reality shows and not keeping the shows with really great writing that keeps us coming back each week. We finally have good tv to watch and you're cancelling all of our favorite shows after giving them just one season to run. So many people are posting across Facebook asking their friends and family for suggestions on good shows to be tuning into and many are able to go to On demand or the internet and watch the previous episodes to catch up then get drawn into these wonderful shows and, if you just gave them more than one season, the ratings would raise drasticAlly season two because people they trust referred them to a show they love and now they too love the show they were referred to and word keeps spreading and ratings continue rising....but not when you only give the show one season, one chance. Stop being stupid and keep great shows like this running. You will be happily surprised if you do. Otherwise more and more viewers will become disappointed and irritated and, instead of watching the awful reality shows that won't go away, they will quit watching your network altogether, as I'm about to do, and turn to Netflix or Vudu or any of the other companies like thAt, to avoid the horrible reality ridden live tv. BRING CRISIS BACK, or another network pick it up please, but don't throw it away now. It's good, unique writing. It's different and exciting tv to watch and not junk. Stop being stupid, give shows more than one season to prove themselves and allow word to spread about how good it is. Everyday on Facebook, another friend is asking for tv show suggestions because they too are tired of crap tv/reality shows. This is a show I've recommended to everyone I know recently and even stated how excited and eager I was for season two to start. Another, normal, let dumbass move by NBC. Y'all are notorious for cancelling the best shows too soon. You will never be number one if you keep cancelling these great shows...
