I tried the show but didn't much care for its coarse humor. There are established sitcoms out there that are funny without resorting to crassness, one of which that is among my favorite shows to watch. With that being said, CBS' decision to cancel it was a good one.

Well, Well, Well Dr. Freud. I'm ex Navy, 72 years old, am extremely computer literate and I do own a cellphone. The problem with this show was that crossed the line of decency on TV, and, in the first episode. I have to ask why shows like Cosby, Home Improvement and Roseanne were funny without being vulgar as this one was. Call I what you like but FWBL was slime from the get-go.

No you can't cancel friends with better lives finally a good show. Just because it has some adult humor which it doesn't hurt to have. Really really a good show...

I fully understand why this show would offend prudes and self righteous personality types with control issues. Broadcast television hasn't learned that yet and keeps pushing the envelope. A large majority percentage of those still watching broadcast television are aging conservatives who often don't own a cell phone and often not even a computer. If they do own a computer, it's almost always a desktop or clunky DELL laptop.
My point is that broadcast television execs seem to ignore demographics factors when it comes to trying something new.
