The buzz is that ABC is cancelling this show, deciding to X it after two episodes. They did the same thing to "Assets" . Is the concept of a limited series so alien to American viewers? Must every show go on and on and on ... into the tedium that accompanies most overly long-lived shows? (Friends, for example)
And,must every show be an instant smash? Is two episodes enough to allow a show to develop? And, must every show cater to the increasingly voyeuristic tastes of the American public the way those disgusting and boring "reality" shows do?
"Assets" cancellation is no surprise; many target- audience viewers ( 18-35 years old )have no idea what the cold war was ... and could not care less.
One has to wonder if "Killer Women" featured a MALE Texas Ranger kicking ass and taking names it would have fared better in the ratings. Tricia Helfer is awesome, and I have really enjoyed the show. Good thing I love to read; ABC is becoming the channel not to bother watching!
