A drama following a group of teenagers who meet as patients in a hospital pediatric ward.
Based on the award-winning Spanish series "Polseres Vermelles," this unconventional and provocative high school drama follows a group of young patients in the pediatric ward of Ocean Park Hospital in Los Angeles.
As its young patients confront questions of life and death which nobody at that age should be faced with, a kinship based on these shared experiences is created among them – a lasting bond represented by the red hospital bands issued to them upon admittance.

In regards to jim's post, step away from the tev buddy it's only pulp television don't take it so seriously lol it was watchable, teenage angst is always unbearable and who says Shakespeare has a monopoly on soliloquy. Point taken with all your comments- da comma kid -ah pull da pug already a waste of resources. I didn't buy the dopey device for exposition. However I want to see the show settle on its feet, see da 'BLACK' kid get it on with the trite bitchy blond; and really at the moment it's an under developed love story between Jordie and Leo I want to see their relationship blossom into a heart breaking goodbye on da trauma table mid-way through the second season; I tink da show should be narrated by Emma da Virginia Woolf of her gen; And to keep it interesting there should be a greater turnover off cast, like the walking dead, beloved characters should die a brutal painful death starting with Octavier Spenser anybody with a pretentious name like that .......lol

Probably my favorite show on the air right now. Definitely should NOT get canceled. The actors and actresses are phenomenal, and I would be devastated if it ended so soon.

We, as a family, love this show. It is one if the few shows that we actually sit down together and watch. It is a show... No it isn't going to necessarily be a true depiction of a hospital.. It isn't meant to be about that. It is meant to be about the relationships and that is depicted beautifully. I hope that it stays around for a long time.. Or maybe we could just add more garbage reality TV.

although I am a nurse, I do kind of like this show. you just have to maintain your "suspension of disbelief". (eyebrows after chemo, enormous luxury suites for rooms, etc..") of course its trite, it is just like the other teenage angst shows but with life or death drama. which they need to get back to in order to save the show...also, the ONLY kid who actually needs to be an impatient is Emma. if she leaves, she WILL die.

A total abortion of a show. An insult to anyone that has lived or had friends or family live through this type of situation this show tried to project. Yank the plug on this one like a lawn mower...PLEASE.

Why are people taking crap about the show when it barely has started do you guys know how it goes yes something's could be better but it is like that for every singe show no matter how good it is if it's crap or great I belive the red band society needs a chance to lift itself off the ground it's not garbge everything people think is going to happen or claim to know they don't things can change fast especially in a drama you don't know if "the black kid" has a fake id and first of all u don't say that in a review its a jump it's not true do u see him with a fake id no he doesn't do drugs the cheerleader does so screw all the people that don't give it a chance and say the scripted is garbge it's not you are just to stupid to get it

Please I already love this show but many people do not and the reason they don't is because they don't get it even thought it's easy to get and I have been literally hooked since the first episode if you cancel it you may lose the numbers of viewers on your other shows because they have seen that you are constily deleting series that have just started and they may be scared if they get too far into this story that you will probably end up cancelling it or for older ones that have been in air for awhile people will see that you cancel new shows so they will only stick to the ones they have been watching for awhile meaning that once their series that have been on for a long time die off the numbers of people using fox will drop fast as more old shows die off and therefore don't cancel every show that starts at a low number leave it for a few seasons and see where it goes if it drops to a very low number then you can consider cancelation you have only gave it a few episodes

Please do not cancel this show. It is great as is the character's. Every time I love a new show it gets cancelled. What is the deal. Please give cancelling the thought of this show many second thoughts.
