A dramedy following a demoted detective who teams up with a cab driver to solve crimes.
When tough New York detective Cat Sullivan is demoted to lowly foot patrol for disobeying orders and reckless driving, she is not too happy about it.
Taking her work into her own hands, Cat forms an unlikely team with a highly skilled taxi driver named Leo. Realizing he lied on his immigration forms, Cat offers to help Leo with his immigration issues in exchange for his taxi and driving abilities.
With Leo now acting as Cat's personal driver and consultant, they work together to solve crimes, including the mysterious death of her father.

I just read that NBC has cancelled Taxi Brooklyn. Chyler will be the lead in Supergirl and Ido will be a regular in Shonda Rhimes new Thriller called The Catch with Mirelle Enos.
I so dislike cliffhangers - we will never know what happened to Ido s room mate or his family. Or whether or not the mother was on the boat that blew up.

If indeed Chyler has left the show, I hope they give Ido a shot at picking it up. If they write it right, he could carry it to the End zone and I think it would be very interesting to see what he could do with it.

Just read where TB will return for the summer. Not sure about cast changes. Chyler is the show, so without her.....(?)

NBC has/had programs that rated from excellent to meh and Taxi Brooklyn is awesome!!! The interaction between the two main characters absolutely made it my favorite cop/buddy dramedy! Please,please oh please bring it back!(you can't leave us hanging with that cliffhanger ending!)
