An action drama following Peggy Carter, an officer with the Strategic Scientific Reserve.
Back in 1946, Agent Peggy Carter of the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve) has found herself stuck with administrative duties when she'd much rather be out in the field utilizing her vast array of skills. She's also figuring life out as a single woman after losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers - aka Captain America.
When old acquaintance Howard Stark is framed for providing his deadliest weapons to anybody with enough money, Peggy springs into action to help track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons, and clear Stark's name.

It has the potential to continue. Because If I recall correctly Peggy does eventually marry. And plenty of more stories to explore, Like Hydra.

I don't think "Agent Carter" will be coming back, given the type of ending on the final episode. Unless ABC renews it featuring a new love interest for Carter, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a comeback. Who knows? Maybe they'll catch us all off guard.

Love this show, and love Hayley's accent. Hope to see a Season 2 and more.

I was disappointed with all the other superhero shows like The Flash, Arrow and Agents of Shield.
This is the only one I'm still watching. Maybe it's the combination of ladylike upper crust British accent and mean dirty fighting. Or maybe the fairly sharp-witted humor.
So far, it's good.
