The Marvel drama ends after two seasons.
May 12, 2016
ABC has pulled the plug on Marvel's Agent Carter, cancelling the series after two seasons. While the mid-season entry drew modest ratings over the course of its run, it did earn its share of critical praise. The show also acted as another tie-in to the Marvel universe, with links to movies such as the Captain America and The Avengers series.

They cancel this, but they renew the ridiculous show Dr. Ken? I just don't get it. As least this show made you think and get involved with the characters. Dr. Ken is just mind-numbing stupidity. It's just a joke...

It was a good show, I just don't think the 40's genre was a good fit with the current offering of comic book related shows on tv at the moment. Marvel only really has Agents of Shield on network TV to work with it and it's tough to do a tie-in when there's a multi-decade gap. I'd say maybe it would have a chance on Netflix, but Hayley Atwell is destined for far greater things. Her career can't afford to keep being wasted on a one-hour comic series.

This is why I hate getting into new'ish shows, Every time I really like a show and get into it; they cancel it. From now on if the show lasts past like 3-4 seasons I might consider watching it.
