Dusty Hubbard is a family man and high school teacher in the small town of Deerfield who is fairly content with his life. When a mysterious machine appears in the general store, promising to reveal people's true life potential, Dusty watches everyone around him reevaluate their life choices and ambitions based on its printouts. It also forces him to question whether he is actually as happy with his life as he once thought.
