A spin-off of 'The Walking Dead' following Maggie and Negan in New York.
After the events of 'The Walking Dead,' Maggie and Negan travel into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan, long cut off from the mainland. The crumbling concrete jungle is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world built on anarchy, danger, and terror.

I have been a too loyal follower of the entire Walking Dead universe for too long. I liked the spinoff with Daryl and Carol because they were interesting. I'm watching half of the first episode of the new season of Dead City and it is abysmally boring and to boot it shows Negan eating dead cockroaches and you hear them crunch in his mouth. I think I'm going to finally have to call it quits on this one and hopefully they'll stop making them.

its beyond me why they would decide to release season 2 head to head in the same timeslot as the last of us. I realize that streaming is big nowadays but still does not make sense to me

Wow, a whole series about Maggie and Neegan plotting to kill each other. What could go wrong? It was painful to watch the last 2 seasons WD, so they make a whole series about it. I predict no season 3 or an early cancel to season 2.

Finally a spinoff that makes sense to create. Hopefully they don't ruin it with bad writing.
