A drama following a character actor in Chinatown thrust into the spotlight after witnessing a crime.
Willis Wu works as a background character in a police procedural called Black & White. Relegated to the background while on screen, Willis goes through the motions, waiting tables and dreaming about a whole world beyond Chinatown.
After inadvertently witnessing a crime, Willis begins to unravel a criminal web in Chinatown, his family's buried history, and what it feels like to be in the spotlight.
Based on Charles Yu's award-winning book of the same name.

While I really like the three main characters: Chloe (Lana), Ronny (Fatty), and Jimmy (Willis), perhaps if this was merely a 2-hour movie it might flow and end easier.
I'm now watching E5 and I must say, it's moving a bit too slowly for me. Anyway, back to watching E5:)
