A drama following a task force working to save a city from a devastating attack.
When an officer with the Department of Homeland Security is murdered in broad daylight, LAPD detective Mark Meachum is recruited to a secret task force, comprised of undercover agents from all branches of law enforcement, to find the killer. But the manhunt reveals a plot far more sinister than anyone could have imagined, kicking off a race against time to save a city of millions.

This show is well written and the cast is outstanding. Countdown needs to be renewed. For those of us who love action thrillers with a mystery element it is perfect. This show actually has substance. Huge thumbs up.

I generally like it. I also like how it's filmed in southern California and the show doesn't pretend to be somewhere else. TV series and movies have pretended either to be in Calif. but filmed elsewhere (e.g. Den of Thieves) or filmed in Calif. pretending to be somewhere else (e.g. NCIS). The series has potential, but as somebody else mentioned, it's likely to not get a renewal....we'll see.

Took an episode or 2 but I really like this show.. which means they will cancel it after 1st season. Hope not though but usually all my shows do.
