Dollhouse gets surprise renewal
In what is likely the most unexpected piece of news for the upcoming Fall season, Fox has announce that Dollhouse will return for a second season.

Despite being plagued with declining ratings since its premiere episode, Dollhouse is being brought back for a 13 episode run in Fall 2009. Most spectators were betting on its cancellation, with the show only averaging roughly 3.7 million viewers. Fox however, believes it can work with Joss Whedon to grow the show and, in turn, its viewership.
Dollhouse is set to return to airwaves on September 25 at 9pm ET.
