The Jay Leno Show is canceled after a short run

After less than half a year, NBC's prime time talk show experiment comes to a close.

NBC has announced that The Jay Leno will cease to air beginning February 12, 2010. Citing dissatisfied affiliates, the network admitted the show was ultimately a failure. The low rated talk show will be replaced by regular programming in the 10:00pm time slot going forward.
