The show's fifth season may only be seen by Canadian audiences.

At this year's Television Critics Association summer press tour, CBS let slip that cop drama Flashpoint is unlikely to return to the network's schedule for its fifth season.
When asked about the prospects of airing future episodes of the show, network president Nina Tassler replied, "We haven't decided yet... I don't think so."
While this news may be depressing for American fans of the show, all hope might not be lost. Flashpoint has already been renewed for Season 5 by Canadian network CTV. If a high number of CBS shows falter in the upcoming season, it would be tempting for them to pick up new already-produced episodes of the Canadian show.
For now, Season 4 of Flashpoint is currently airing Friday nights on CBS and CTV.

Another great decision from CBS to take flashpoint off, They must have the stupidest people in the world running the programming there, like putting the old man on the morning news and taking Harry off, keep up the good work CBS and you'll have all the viewers ran off!

I will be so mad if they take Flashpoint off the air, it is my favorite show of all times. In fact it is one of the very best shows that u have ever put on T.V. It shows good things about the cops,a lot of people today have bad attitudes about the police and this show really shows what great guys they are, have a heart, families. It would probably be a positive energy to keep airing. I am so proud too that such a great show is Canadian made.

How could you even consider not airing Flashpoint. It's one of the best written shows in a long time. That was my favorite show, looked forward to it every Friday night. The actors are great, especially the charter Greg Parker. They're all good. It's so much better than the reality junk thet have on tv. The show is so life like. The members as a team and how it relates to their famlies. Have our minds settled for such junk instead a real life show and entertaining. I just don't get it. What's happened to CBS, where are they headed?

I missed the first season of the show but my kids watched it. Happened to catch one episode with them and I was hooked. Have really enjoyed the show..the legal stuff and the interpersonal relationships. How can CBS possible take it off the air? Very unfair with all the junk that is on otherwise~!!!Please reconsider CBS!!!
