Ratings are out for 90210's third season debut, and things are not looking good for the show from the outset. The teen drama premiered with a 0.9 rating for adults 18-49, which is down 31% against last fall's 1.3 rating. It also fared poorly in the 18-34 category with a 1.2, down 29% from 1.7 a year ago.

On the bright side, the third season premiere's ratings were actually up 20% from where it ended Season 2. However if the show's ratings drop further during the course of this season, it could be a candidate for cancellation before next May.
