FX has renewed its second-year drama "Justified" for a third season. This news comes just hours before tonight's FX upfront party in New York, where the cast is scheduled to appear. They will no doubt be in a jovial mood over the good news.
The show has been a solid performer for the network, currently faring better in its second season than its first. After seven episodes this year, Justified has averaged an audience of 4 million "Live + 7" viewers for its Wednesday night episodes - up 16% from Season 1.
Justified is a neo-Western crime drama starring Timothy Olyphant as a tough but soft-spoken cop who uses his own brand of justice to enforce the law. The series airs Wednesdays at 10:00pm on FX.

This show is riveting! My husband and I are totally "hooked". He loved Timothy in "Deadwood" (a little too graphic for me) and asked me to watch "Justified". When is season 3 scheduled?

I came upon season just accidently while visiting someone and enjoyed watching the reruns of season one. Enjoyed it so much watched season two. I now have the complete season one on DVD. Am looking forward to having season two on DVD. When will season 3 start. Timothy is such a good looking and charming actor and plays the part so well.

I agree with my co-viewers,"Justified" is outstanding entertainment. My wife and I work our busy schedules around other activities just so we can watch Raylan & crew. We cannot wait until season 3 starts and wish someone would say WHEN!

My family and I LOVE this show!!! We have named one of our pets "Raylan" in honor of Mr. Olyphant's character.. love the show and we are all looking forward to season 3 and many more! Great acting, great casting.. great show!

Still no word on a premiere date for Season 3. An early 2012 return is likely.
