The freshman sitcom will not return.
May 11, 2011
Fox has cancelled new sitcom Traffic Light as part of a massive round of modestly-rated show cancellations announced late Tuesday. Also axed were The Chicago Code, Human Target, Lie to Me, and Breaking In.
Traffic Light follows the misadventures of a group of three thirty-somethings at different stages of their lives. The series premiered in February to decent ratings, but slipped during its run to the point where the network obviously opted not to renew the show in favor of something new next season.
12 of 13 planned episodes of the show have aired to this point, with its season - and series - finale set to air May 17. There is no word at this time whether the existing schedule will be affected by the cancellation.

Just discovered the show on Netflix. It's great, but should be brought back with a name change; "Road Signs." Same theme, better sounding title.

it's sad shows like the kardashians have more than one season and have little plot or idea.

Why is the second word of most comments "disappointed"? "So disappointed," "Really disappointed," and even "Super disappointed" made an appearance. Interesting. Well, I liked the show too. The tall guy with glasses reminded me of my friend and I liked to watch to be reminded of him. Plus it was cool to see Pam's ex-fiance on another show. The British dude wasn't that great, but he didn't ruin anything.
I "think" the show was cancelled because it didn't really have a plot. It wasn't really going anywhere interesting. They needed a longer arc to keep people coming back and to keep people. I think people are much more aware of what separates a good tv show from a bad one and are much more demanding from their tv shows.
