ABC has canceled Off the Map as part of a flurry of moves that saw seven of its shows meet their end. Also canceled are Brothers & Sisters, V, No Ordinary Family, Mr. Sunshine, Better With You, and Detroit 1-8-7.
Dubbed as Grey's Anatomy in the jungle, Off the Map premiered in January of this year and aired 13 episodes. The show's series finale was on April 6.
ABC likely had much higher hopes for the show, positioning it to piggyback off the success of Grey's the same way Private Practice did. Ultimately the show did not pull in very impressive numbers, falling from a 2.0 average (adults 18-49) over its first five episodes, to as low as 1.3 three times over its final four episodes.

I love this showwww!!!! It shouldn't have been cancelled because we were expecting to see more of it... Did it have to end with quiet so many cliffhangers

I watched this in Australia a year after it was aired in the U.S. Yes we're a year - three behind. I loved Off The Map. I love Greys and loved Private Practice. This is almost better. We don't get anywhere near as many shows as the US, but this is one i really liked. I bought the first season for my mum for Mother's Day. She loved it too. It's a shame it was the only season. I'm really getting sick and tired of them cancelling shows. I mean who the f really wants to watch Dancing with the Stars and X Factor and all that shit. C'mon. Stop cancelling the good shows dammit!!!

Off the map is an amazing show! ABC always cancels the good shows and keep adding more reality shows. If I wanted to watch reality, I'd turn off my tv and walk outside! It's 2013 and I am a new fan. Bring it back for another go and advertise people, advertise!

i cannot believe that off the map is cancelled!! i never missed it, ever! i love greys, & private practice, and off the map was just as good as those two!! i am soo sad that its cancelled!

Off The Map is an amazing show and i am very very disappointed that is has been cancelled. I was a Grey's and Private Practice fan too, but I love Off The Map so much more. It was a lot more interesting than either of those and now that i've experienced Off The Map i don't think the others appeal to me near as much. Off The Map all the way! give it another chance!

I can't believe one of my favorite shows has been cancelled!! Why would you cancel such a good show? I hope you are not going to put another piece of crap reality show on instead

I was seriously disapointed to here this show was cancelled, I had been waiting all summer for it to come back on. :(

I have been waiting patiently for Off the Map this fall! I am bummed out! I thought that the whole paradise setting made for a nice fresh idea, I am a Greys fan but honestly I was liking Off the Map even more. I do work in health care and I thought that the cases where very interesting.ABC made a big mistake!

I am so sick of the networks cancelling shows before they have a chance!Even worse they never or rarely tie up the show to give the audience a bit of closure!! They don't care if we the audience want to know what happened to the characters you left hanging!!It makes me rarely want to invest in any new shows for fear that they'll just be cancelled!Ever wonder if it's the reason for low numbers??
