ABC has picked up the comedy for a second season to debut in 2012.

ABC Family announced today that freshman comedy Melissa & Joey has been renewed for a second season. The series premiered last August and is still currently airing new Season 1 episodes due to an eight month break it took at its midway point.
Melissa & Joey has been considered a success thus far, debuting as the Number 1 comedy ever on the network in total viewers and key demographics. The show's first season is set to wrap up in the Fall, with Season 2 targeted for sometime in 2012.

I love this show. I am so glad there was a 2nd season!! Please don't take this off air! A show I don't have to worry if my 4 year old walks in on.

I agree I love this show. Never would have watched it on air had I not seen it on netflix. I am glad it is coming back!

Who's the boss - very similar roles- male house keeper and strong business woman female. They even have the same " friendship" chemestry. I love it!

I will join in all the other comments by saying "I Love this show". I blew through all 30 episodes on Netflix within two days. I did have to go to work in between. They have such an amazing Chemistry and funny. The writing provides just enough adult hidden humor without being gross. Finally a show that I can just laugh out loud. We all need more humor on TV and film.

This show is wonderful! The actors mesh so well together. Great writing and acting. I pray they don't cancel this show like others that were really good.
