USA Network has decided to cancel In Plain Sight, but will still go ahead with a shortened fifth season of the show to give its audience a sense of closure.
Season 4 of In Plain Sight, which follows a US Marshal working for the Witness Protection Program, aired its finale just this past Sunday. The show's fifth and final season of eight episodes will premiere sometime in the Spring of 2012.

Just discovered this show. Fantastic!! Very disappointed that it was canceled so soon!!!! Shame on USA Network!!!!!

It seems as if the "people" behind the scenes at USA are amateur idiots who should not be deciding what we see on tv. I'm faithful watched Covert Affairs, In Plain Sight, Fairly Legal, Burn Notice, and several other USA shows. However I am very ready to switch to any other channel as I am SICK of the of shortened seasons, 5 episodes now and a several month break before the episodes air, and good shows being cancelled. It is quite clear USA Network has no CPUs to what they're doing and have horrible horrible judgment in deciding what Americans wants. This network is begining to represent ANYTHING BUT THE USA

Love In Plain Sight. The back and forth between Marshall and Mary is hilarious. Can not believe they are cancelling it.

I agree that In Plain Sight should not be cancelled, but to the person who said Burn Notice was a bad show either. The real question is why is the show being dumped?

To say we are disappointed is an understatement. This is one of the best written and acted shows on television and it's going by the wayside. Shame, shame, shame on you USA.

I cannot believe that USA is cancelling IN PLAIN SITE. I love this show. Not only are they cancelling this wonderful show but they are airing shows in it's place that are not worth watching. I think USA needs to rethink what they are doing. So long USA!!!
